Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is responsible for laying down guidelines, rules and regulations and formulating policies for ITIs in India. ITIs provide technical training to students and the major emphasis is on developing industry-specific skills in students. ITIs work with an aim to develop a skilled workforce in India.

ITIs offer several courses or training programmes in India, which are called as ‘Trades’. Each trade focuses on a specific set of skills or industry need. The duration of ITI courses/ trades ranges from six months to two years. The duration of the course depends upon the nature and type of the course. The eligibility criteria of ITI courses vary from one course to another. The general requirements of ITI trades in India are Class VIII/ X pass or Class 12 pass. Students can take up ITI courses after Class 8, Class 10 or Class 12.

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Rajasthan is responsible for conducting ITI admissions in Rajasthan. There is no entrance exam to take admission to ITI courses in Rajasthan. Usually, the ITI admissions in Rajasthan begin in the month of June every year. More details can be checked below.

Online Admission Application: Students can fill the online application form for ITI courses through the official website of Rajasthan government or DTE Rajasthan or Single Sign-On – Rajasthan website. The candidates must upload scanned copies of Signature, Photograph, Class 8, Class 10 or Class 12 mark sheet or certificate while submitting the online application form.

Admission Fee: According to Aravali Pvt IIT

Admission Process: The admission authority will release a merit list of applicants who are eligible for ITI admission in Rajasthan. Candidates featured in the ITI merit list must take part in the counselling process to get admission. The seat allocation is purely based on merit.
